The design had to meet two key goals: to integrate harmoniously into the natural landscape and to offer a unique stay experience with full views of the sea and sunsets. Additionally, the challenge was to fully utilise the 820,83 sq.m. plot to ensure privacy and functionality across all areas.

Three-Level Layout

Villa Dioni spans three floors. The bedrooms are placed on the upper and lower levels, while shared living areas are located on the middle level with direct access to the outdoors. The top floor features an open attic-style space, ideal for children or guests.

Materials & Identity

Stone and wood — two quintessentially traditional materials — are used extensively in both construction and interior detailing. The wooden flooring and roof structure of the ontas (traditional sitting room) lend character and warmth to the space.

Outdoor Living & Guest Experience

The outdoor areas include multiple seating zones and pergolas throughout the plot, offering guests the ability to choose where to relax throughout the day depending on sun exposure and wind direction. The private swimming pool is positioned behind the villa for maximum seclusion.

Additional Amenities

The villa includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fireplace, an outdoor barbecue, a traditional wood-fired oven, private parking, and lush landscaping with olive trees and Mediterranean plants. A large lawn provides the perfect space for families to relax and play.
