Challenge<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\"><p data-start=\"1296\" data-end=\"1459\">The main challenge of the project was the small and complex plot, which required careful positioning of the building in order to fully utilise the available space.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1461\" data-end=\"1541\">The design needed to successfully achieve three key objectives at the same time:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1601\">the creation of two spacious and functional apartments<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1648\">the inclusion of basement auxiliary spaces<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1651\" data-end=\"1704\">the organisation of shared outdoor areas for guests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1706\" data-end=\"1867\">The final placement of the building within the plot allowed for the creation of private verandas, sheltered outdoor spaces, and a welcoming entrance environment.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-image-element \" Approach<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><h3 data-section-id=\"z4drhf\" data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"1935\">Architectural Composition<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1937\" data-end=\"2175\">The building was designed with clean geometric lines and a restrained architectural vocabulary. The composition is based on simple volumes organised around the main living spaces, creating a contemporary yet timeless architectural result.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2350\">Large terraces and openings allow abundant natural light and establish a strong visual connection with the surrounding outdoor areas, enhancing the overall guest experience.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"cak6wc\" data-start=\"2352\" data-end=\"2371\">Interior Layout<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2373\" data-end=\"2493\">The interior organisation is based on a linear floor plan that allows a smooth transition between the main living areas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2495\" data-end=\"2515\">The layout includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2519\" data-end=\"2568\">a kitchen directly connected to the dining area<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2571\" data-end=\"2643\">a living room with a fireplace serving as the focal point of the space<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2646\" data-end=\"2660\">two bedrooms<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2663\" data-end=\"2684\">a spacious bathroom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2686\" data-end=\"2774\">The simplicity of the layout ensures functionality, comfort, and ease of use for guests.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"qsrkb3\" data-start=\"2776\" data-end=\"2811\">Outdoor Spaces and Shared Areas<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2813\" data-end=\"2941\">Particular emphasis was placed on the design of the outdoor spaces, which function as a natural extension of the interior areas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2943\" data-end=\"3137\">A barbecue area and a shaded pergola were created within the courtyard, while the entrance to the property was designed using stone elements that give the complex a warm and welcoming character.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3139\" data-end=\"3227\">The outdoor spaces in front of the building serve as shared relaxation areas for guests.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"c2ludq\" data-start=\"3229\" data-end=\"3275\">Technical Solutions and Energy Performance<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3277\" data-end=\"3474\">To improve the building\u2019s energy performance, an external thermal insulation system was applied to the building envelope. The heating system combines ceiling heating with radiators in the bedrooms.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3476\" data-end=\"3568\">These solutions ensure thermal comfort and efficient energy performance throughout the year.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-image-element \" Pelagia.<\/p>\n<p>The combination of minimalist design, functional interior spaces, and high-quality construction creates a comfortable and welcoming hospitality environment.<\/p>\n<p>The careful use The project was developed with the aim of creating two spacious and independent apartments designed to operate as short-term holiday rental accommodations.<\/p>\n<p>The architectural approach focused on creating a building with a contemporary aesthetic and a minimalist design language that responds to the needs of modern hospitality, offering comfortable interior spaces and carefully designed outdoor living areas.<\/p>\n<p>Each apartment is organised with a functional layout and includes two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a dining area, and a large bathroom. The floor plan follows a linear arrangement, where the kitchen, dining area, and living room are positioned sequentially, creating a bright and unified living space for everyday
