TEMPLATE Study of a maisonette
Our new study is about a maisonette in the gretater area of Heraklion, Gazi, in Crete.
The building was placed in the northwest part of the plot in order to take advantage of the south and east orientation and to in order to create comfortable outdoor living spaces.
The central volume of the buidling is created by the semi-outdoor space, 6m high, that starts from the entrance and reaches the end of the building. The maisonette includes a spacious single room on the ground floor, which houses the living room, the dining room and the kitchen, as well as a bedroom with a bathroom. On the first floor, there are two children’s bedrooms with bathroom, as well as the master bedroom with dressing room and bathroom. On the roof there is a pergola that creates a sitting area and an area with a planted roof. In the basement there is parking via a ramp as well as utility areas.
