In this project, a complete remodelling of the building was done to complete its investment capital gain, due to the location of the property, in Giofyro.

In the already existing building, which consisted of a ground floor warehouse and four apartments in total on the floors, two on the first and two on the second floor, we did a new foundation, reinforcement and remodelling of the building.

What did we do about it?

The study was done from scratch. The building was quite old with static and construction issues. Initially we raised the ground floor warehouse, which was around 4.5-5 meters high, by one meter and made a new foundation which provided our floor for the new apartments. We stripped the entire building and reinforced it with shotcrete (gunite), reinforced the columns and beams of the building on both floors.

We created semi-outdoor spaces with recesses for larger terraces, at the same time there was a makeover on all sides of the building with elements of glass on stiles and together with the concrete elements and colour changes, the building took on a more interesting and modern view.

The remodelling of the building gave, from the four apartments it originally had, 12 apartments, four on each floor. All the apartments are around 35-40 square meters, with one bedroom, independent with their verandas. Since the apartments were intended for long-term rental, the materials chosen were for the corresponding use.

The new frame gave new life to the building, it became modern and fully utilized in all its square footage. The investment property was overutilized and a new property was created, statically strong, with new infrastructure, new electrical and mechanical.
